HotShot

SA HotShot is a simple hot-key program. With it, You can program most of the alphabetic keys on your keyboard, when pressed in combination with the "Windows" key, to launch any file or application on your computer. Once running, it stays in your system tray and is always active (unless you turn it off).

Using HotShot

First, run SAHotShot.exe. It will look like nothing happened. What really happened is that placed an icon in your system tray (next to your clock, volume control, virus checker, etc.). To add a hot-key, right-click on the SA HotShoy icon (it looks like a little keyboard with "HS" above it) and select "Edit Hot Keys". This will bring up the HotShot key editing interface.

Choose the key you want to use (the E, F, M and R keys are reserved for Windows), then enter the command you want HotShot to launch. The command is usually the path to an EXE or batch file. Then, enter any optional command line arguments. You can also specify the intial folder to launch the command from. Enter as many hot keys as you want, then Save and Close.

Now, whenever you press the Windows key (the one with the little Windows' flag on it) along with one of your "hot" keys, SA HotShot will execute the command you've specified.

Stopping HotShot

To stop SA Hot Shot, right-click the SA Hot Shot icon in your system tray and select "Stop HotShot".
