Plug-ins can be used to add new image processing effects to ThumbNailer, or to read image formats that ThumbNailer doesn't support natively. All of the plug-ins below are for ThumbNailer version 10 or higher. If you need plug-ins for previous versions: click here.

The Complete ThumbNailer Plug-in Package delivers all of the ThumbNailer v10 plug-ins in an easy to use installer. This package includes all of the image processing and import plug-ins written by Smaller Animals Software, Inc..

Image Processing Plug-ins

Description		Author
TNX_ContrastEnhancer Automatically increase shadow and highlight detail by applying a "constrast mask" effect.		Smaller Animals

TNX_SimpleBorder Draw a solid border on the edge of your images. Allows for semi-transparent borders, also.		Smaller Animals

TNX_Shadow Draw drop shadows on the image.		Smaller Animals

TNX_Deckle Applies a ripped-paper effect to the edges of the image.		Smaller Animals

TNX_AutoBright Perform a simple automatic brightness correction.		Smaller Animals

TNX_Rotator Rotate images.		Smaller Animals

TNX_Duotone Produce duotone images. Can be used to simulate the sepia-tone effect used on older photographs.		Smaller Animals

TNX_Smoother This is a bilateral filter (sometimes called a "surface smoother") which will smooth images while preserving most fine details. For example, it gives a nice glossy air-brushed look to faces, while preserving edges and details.		Smaller Animals

TNX_Tweaker Performs a variety of simple image enhancements: Invert Grayscale Solarize Black & white Posterize.		Smaller Animals

TNX_ContentAwareResizer This resizes images by removing areas of low energy. The technique is best explained by this video.		Smaller Animals

Import Plug-ins

Description		Author
TNX_MovieReader This allows ThumbNailer to extract frames from video files such as MPEG, AVI and more. This is included in the main ThumbNailer download package.		Smaller Animals

TNX_ReadRAW This allows ThumbNailer to read the "RAW" files produced by many digital cameras.		Smaller Animals

TNX_ReadCals This allows ThumbNailer to read CALS images (Type I only)		Smaller Animals
