    Default When Thumb-Nailing, Image Degrades

    Upgraded from version 8 to version 10. Using same profile, the thumbnails are degraded. Possible compression? I went line by line through each of the options and could not discover the solution.

    Why is version 10 degrading my photos when all I want is a resize? Thanks in advance.

    It's hard to say. There are many possible reasons:

    JPG output quality
    The resize method (More Options / Image Enhancement / Resizing Method)
    Prescaling (More Options / Image Enhancement / Read Images Prescaled)
    Contrast & sharpening options will change the output appearance

    Are they all the same?
